What if I can’t connect my Coway Airmega with my phone after following all of these steps?

Please check whether your Wi-Fi router is compatible with Coway Airmega.
Coway Airmega uses Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet and only uses the 2.4GHz band. There are two frequency bands commonly used for Wi-Fi communication: 2.4 and 5GHz. Many modern routers support both bands.

How to know if your wireless router is a dual band:

Please look up your router model on the manufacturer’s website. Some routers even have dual-band written on the router itself or on the packaging that it came in. |listPlease look at your Wi-Fi network’s names (SSIDs). Your Wi-Fi router may be broadcasting two networks, with different names to indicate the 2.4 and 5GHz bands. This would confirm that you have a dual band router.
It’s also possible that your router may be a dual-band router that is currently set to broadcast in only one band. If your dual-band router is set to broadcast 5GHz, please set your router to broadcast both bands or only 2.4GHz, and try pairing your Coway Airmega again. If your router is only a 5GHz band router, your Coway Airmega can’t be connected with the router. If you use the internal security network in your office, your Coway Airmega may not be connected with the router.

Why is the Indoor Air Quality indicator on my Coway Airmega different than the app?

Please check if Wi-Fi LED of your Coway Airmega is on.

Why is there no change on the filter lifetime level monitoring on the app, when I’ve been running the Airmega?

Please check if Wi-Fi LED of your Airmega is on.

Why is my graph flat?

Please check that your Airmega is powered on and the Wi-Fi LED is on.
Note:You can adjust the sensitivity of your Airmega sensor. Please refer to your owner’s manual.

Why isn’t my Coway Airmega operating based on my timer or scheduler settings?

Please check whether another user has changed the timer or the scheduler for the product.
Please check if the time zone you set in your application is right.
Please note that the timer always will be reset if you turn off your Coway Airmega.

I have more than one Coway Airmega. Can I connect to multiple products?

Yes! You can simply add the products in the application.

Can I connect my Coway Airmega to multiple smartphones?

Yes! You must download the app on all smartphones and sign in with the same credentials.

What if I change my router?

If you use the same SSID and password for the new router, you won’t have to pair your Airmega again. If you use a different SSID and/or password for the new router, please delete the current air purifiers from your application and follow the pairing steps to pair the air purifiers with your application again.

What if my Wi-Fi network doesn’t show up?
  • Please check whether your Wi-Fi router is on.
  • Check farther down the list of Wi-Fi names.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router.
  • Restarting your router can be useful for fixing a number of Wi-Fi issues.

Important: You won’t be able to access the Internet until your router has finished restarting.

How to restart your router:

1. Unplug your router’s power.
2. Wait for 10 seconds, then plug your router back in.
3. Wait a couple of minutes, or until you see steady power and connection lights.

After your router has restarted, try connecting your Airmega to your Wi-Fi network again.

More pointers about your Wi-Fi router:

  • Please move your Airmega closer to your Wi-Fi router and try again. If your Airmega is too far away from your Wi-Fi router, it could be out of range.
  • Please check for wireless interference. Wireless interference can be caused by having many Wi-Fi devices in the house, too many Wi-Fi networks in the area, or even a big metal object between your Airmega and the router.
What if I can’t find the Coway Airmega Wi-Fi names in my WI-Fi network list? (iPhone only)

Please wait until you can hear the melody sound and search for the Wi-Fi network name of your Airmega (e.g. Airmega 300S).

Why can’t I hear a beeping sound when I press the Wi-Fi icon and Light icon together in step 3 of pairing?

Please check if your Airmega is on.
If no indicator lights are illuminated, please relocate to another electrical outlet.

Why can’t I scan the product barcode?

Please scan the barcode in the light again.
If you still have an issue, please input the serial number to the application manually.

If you are using an iPhone, please go to Settings and select Airmega Application to check if Camera mode is off.
If the Camera mode is off, please change the mode from off to on and try to scan the barcode once again.
